Today the famous site @evleaks has put out an article titled “Nokia,2014 and beyond” stating the future of Nokia and what more products and software updates we anticipate in the coming times.
Saying in brief, after providing WP 8.1 to all of its userbase, Nokia plans on launching more lumia devices with codenames ranging from Superman/Tesla to Mclaren. So follow the link below and read the article by @evleaks
Nokia’s plans to update it’s lumia series to the current Windows Phone 8.1 is finally out.
Since the Microsoft Developer Conference, we have been waiting for the WP 8.1 update and it is now just around the curb. @evleaks has recently posted a chart showing the speculated release dates for the update of the cyan colored lumia devices. Lumia 630,635,935 came preloaded with WP 8.1, while other lumia devices could run a beta version until now. But now older lumia devices are receiving the official update soon by the end of this month( for exact dates refer to chart).
Consumers in search of an affordable and nifty smartphone to own, might be in luck( but just for 2 days) as Motorola(now, a Lenovo company) has a hefty discount for all of you.
Motorola is offering all of its costumers a $100 discount on the Moto X, which can be costumized for shades and skins on the MotoMaker website(linked at end). You can even buy the developer version at this price and choose the carrier of your choice. This phone is available off-contract at $349( before discount), amounting to just $249 after. The sale has started and will end on 5th June 11:59 am EDT.
As speculated, this may be the last discount offer by Motorola, due to the following shut-down of the Moto-Maker plant in Texas, U.S.
So, will you buy a discounted Moto X or not? Comment below.
Also tell us your favourite color combos for it!! 😉
Amidst the launch of the LG G3, and the ongoing WWDC Conference in San Francisco, there have been some rather small developments on the smartphone front, with Sony coming out of the blues and launching a new phablet that seems to be quite thin. And this is the new Xperia T3, and not the Xperia Z2 Ultra that we all have been waiting to know more about.
This device launched by Sony, doesn’t seem to be their flagship phone for 2014, but is rather a mid-ranger, packed with some decent specifications. The T3 has a large 5.3 inch, 720p IPS display with a pixel count of 227 PPI( pixels per inch ). It is powered by the quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked in at 1.4 Ghz, 1 GB RAM and Adreno 305 GPU graphics. It will run the latest version of Android, 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box. Other key specifications include an 8 MP rear( with flash), and a 1.1 MP front-facing Exmor camera, 8 GB internal storage( with Micro SD Card support ), and a 2500-mAh Battery.
On the connectivity front the T3 is 2G/3G enabled along with LTE capabilities. It has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n(2.4 Ghz/5 Ghz) and also hosts NFC to share and exchange documents.
Sony claims it to be the slimmest 5.3-inch phablet available in the market, with just a bare minimum of 7mm thickness, and weighing just 148 grams. The phone to screen ratio is thus increased to 66.7%. The phone is expected to launch globally in July (next month) and will available in three colors: black, white and purple.
I have setup a full page dedicated to this year’s WWDC being held at San Fransisco from 2-6 June. This page will help you keep updated with all the latest news from the conference at the end of each day.
Apple fans be ready to be overjoyed, one because Apple’s WWDC 2014 will be aired live online this year and secondaly iOS 8 is bid to be shown off at the conference starting on June 2 in San Fransisco.
As a recent rumor suggested that iOS 8 isnt ready for launch due to incomplete split-screen feature( already available in Android) but a banner put up at Moscone Center doesnt say so, rather it has a huge 8 written on it, which indicates only towards the iOS line-up, as no other software requires an update to that number, as we all might know.
Now, the only fact we know Apple would be incorporating in iOS is the healthcare center for fitness fanatics, while no other leaks have been reported. It all depends on the creativity of the Apple design team, whether they can modify the OS UI for good.
Now, just two later we will see what Apple has in the box for us.Hope you all are excited as well.
Comment down what you think of iOS 8 and what other features might we see at WWDC’14?
