The Google ATAP(Advanced Technology amd Projects) Team have assembled this motion tracking smartphone kit which can now be ordered by professional developers for $1024 by filling out this form here. So you can navigate around having a 3D look of your surroundings and it will be extremely beneficial for the blind a well.
Q. What’s inside the dev kit?
The development kit contains a 7″ tablet that is powered by the new NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor packed with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, motion tracking camera, integrated depth sensing, WiFi, BTLE, and 4G LTE(depends on region and carrier).

Motorola is offering all of its costumers a $100 discount on the Moto X, which can be costumized for shades and skins on the MotoMaker website(linked at end). You can even buy the developer version at this price and choose the carrier of your choice. This phone is available off-contract at $349( before discount), amounting to just $249 after. Amidst the launch of the LG G3, and the ongoing WWDC Conference in San Francisco, there have been some rather small developments on the smartphone front, with Sony coming out of the blues and launching a new phablet that seems to be quite thin. And this is the new Xperia T3, and not the Xperia Z2 Ultra that we all have been waiting to know more about.
This device launched by Sony, doesn’t seem to be their flagship phone for 2014, but is rather a mid-ranger, packed with some decent specifications. The T3 has a large 5.3 inch, 720p IPS display with a pixel count of 227 PPI( pixels per inch ). It is powered by the quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked in at 1.4 Ghz, 1 GB RAM and Adreno 305 GPU graphics. It will run the latest version of Android, 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box. Other key specifications include an 8 MP rear( with flash), and a 1.1 MP front-facing Exmor camera, 8 GB internal storage( with Micro SD Card support ), and a 2500-mAh Battery.
On the connectivity front the T3 is 2G/3G enabled along with LTE capabilities. It has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n(2.4 Ghz/5 Ghz) and also hosts NFC to share and exchange documents.
Sony claims it to be the slimmest 5.3-inch phablet available in the market, with just a bare minimum of 7mm thickness, and weighing just 148 grams. The phone to screen ratio is thus increased to 66.7%. The phone is expected to launch globally in July (next month) and will available in three colors: black, white and purple.
The release of Android Wear, the customised OS for smartwatches by Google was a sudden surprise for all, but what was a bigger and better surprise for the techies was the circular or round smartwatch being developed by Motorola, the Moto 360. Motorola wants to provide the consumers with the looks and feel of a traditional wrist watch, but with the power of Google!!

Now let’s talk about another most awaited and hyped smartwatch, the iWatch by Apple Inc.
With the news of a smartwatch in the works, Apple has been the center of focus for us as well.
A recent article from Technobuffalo suggests that the iWatch is also on the list of soon launching products and would house a circular display quite similar to Moto360 and might also support wireless charging, as speculated.

And the most recent update on the smartwatch front is from the Taiwanese giant, the manufacturer of the best smartphone of 2013 hTc.
TK Tech News of China reports and has proof of the existence of what is to be called the hTc One Wear. As the images in the article suggest that this smartwatch also has a circular watch screen and would run the Android Wear OS.
As it can be seen in the images that there are three icons, first one being a contacts or file manager, the second being the music app and the third a camera lens icon.
The images seem unusual due to the square image, but hoping its very real, we are waiting for a formal announcement by hTc soon.
We are just hours away from the launch of the much awaited and rumoured flapship device by the Korean manufacturer LG.
LG G3 is the successor of the previous(2013) flagship, the G2.

It has a similar but redesigned and flat power+volume key placement at the back as the G2. The G3 houses a 13 MP shooter with OIS+ and dual tone flash at the rear and also a mysterious sensor which is speculated to be a laser autofocus, providing a faster AF time compared to any other device. The front camera would be a 2.1 MP camera with improved ‘Selfie’ mode.
Even LG’s hand is all itchy to show off their new device that they are unable to keep leaking or showing off teaser videos, boasting their wonderful phone. The G3 also has some software enhancements, one called the QuickCircle, which also has an added accesory and another the SmartNotice, which would be a personal assisstant, as said in the leaks.
Now, we all need to wait and see if all the leaks and rumors hold true and the spec sheet matches the launch!! The LG G3 will be available in three colours – Grey,Black and white.
